Assalamualaikum w.b.t.h.
For the second semester in UTM as an undergraduates here, I joined a club called Budi Penyayang. From the name itself many can predict what this club does. Spread the love they say, so we're trying to spread loves all around, everywhere. There are many activities held by this club ; conducted by the students themselves. One group plan and conducted for a Blood Donation Campaign. It was held for three days, 6th to 8th of March at the campus' Main Hall. I feel bad for not knowing how much blood they have collected that day because I am occupied for another program but it is a success I heard. And since I was hospitalized a week before the blood donation, i'm not allowed to donate my blood and I really want to. Isk :'(
Our second activity was a meaningful trip to
Rumah Ikhlas Bakti, which accommodates the disabled, old folks and people who cannot take care of themselves.
The trip was held on 30th March 2013.
See my face in there?? Naahh...I know im not in the picture, but im the one who takes the picture. So, that's good enough I hope.. Heheh xD
Tadaa!! That's me finally! That is Pakcik Shaari if I'm not mistaken. He is a really friendly person and easy to talk to. He got a lot of stories; it feels like talking to my dad :0
owhh... I miss him already. t.t
Aannnddd...... This is Tok Wan!! Cute isn't it! He really likes his picture being captured . Very sporting. The most memorable thing about him that I remembered is that people said that he would stand at the house's gate everyday waiting for his wife to come. Unfortunately his wife is long deceased. I can feel the strong bond between him and his wife. He even cried when he sees that we're leaving that day. The people in this house really longed for love and caress. How I wished I could stay there longer :'(
Blood Pressure : Checked!
Pakcik is healthy :D
No worries!
Mak Mah (Makcik Salimah ) here :D
She is very kind and friendly. She is fortunate to have her children and grandchilds to visit and take her around town every now and then. But she claims to feel lonely sometimes. Being there is her choice since she thinks that it is more easy and safe that there are people who can take care of her since her children is working.
And this is my favourite Mak Pah ( Makcik Sharifah).
She speaks fluent English, even better than students here I think. She used to work at a power station. She is just amazing! She used to have a daughter. She said to me that her daughter would be of my age if she is still alive. She shows no sorrows in her eyes but I can feel her loss. Every month or so, her friends would take her out for sightseeing but according to her, it would never be the same as to go out with her own daughter. :'(
I can see that she is a really strong and caring woman. When she saw the tiredness in me, she offers a bottle of 100 Plus saying that it would keep me hydrated. She gave me wonderful advice about love, life and study. She keeps telling me to be a useful person in the future; to be good to my parent and family and to visit her when I have time. She is really impressive. I love her.
Introducing Mr. Engineer. heheh.. I so sorry that i cannot remember his name but he is a genius!
He was a student of UTM. A very clever one I bet. He studied in Japan for some years and ended up working there. But he works too hard that his body cannot bear the pressure. According to his story, he used to work really hard non-stop that finally one day, he collapses. He is the diagnosed to be having a weak limbs making him hard to walk around or works anymore. :'(
He advises us to be hard working but to have fun at the same time trying not to put a large pressure to our body as our body may not stand it. I really hope he would get healthier :D Aamiin..
And Lastly.....
The CAT!
HAHA
This is the cat accompanying the folks in the house.
Makcik Pah said that the cat is very manja and gedik. Haha.. Soo cute.
Stop Smoking Campaign
The One Thousand Signatures for Stop Smoking Campaign was held on the 12th to 16th of May. For this campaign, our goal is to get a thousand signatures for a stop smoking campaign. Im not sure how many signatures were collected but its a lot!
SO, there we go! I had so much fun in this club, being able to interact to so many people, gained a lot of experiences and the most important of all, I spread the Love!
Alhamdulillah, A big thanks to Mr Noraimi bin Shafie that has been guiding us all along :)
Wassalam :D
